Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between your two pupils. Your PD is measured in millimeters and is necessary for creating your custom prescription eyeglasses.
Typically, most adults have PDs between 55-65 mm. For kids, PDs are usually between 42-54 mm. You can often get your PD measurement from your doctor or a licensed optician. However, pupillary distance is also easy to measure yourself!

The required fields are labeled on our forms the same way they would be labeled on your prescription. O.D. is for your right eye and O.S. is for your left eye. Make sure you follow what’s written on your Rx per eye and enter it as is in the corresponding fields.
Your Rx may not require every field on our form; many don’t. SPH and PD will always be required, at a minimum.

Prior to shipping, your lenses are custom made in our Long Island, NY laboratory to your exact prescription and PD measurement, then cut and fit to the frame of your choosing.
Over 95% of all orders ship within 2-7 business days. For some higher prescriptions and multifocals (progressives and bifocals) it may take up to an additional 1-4 business days to process your order.
We take pride in our products and every pair of glasses goes through a quality assurance inspection process. A small percentage of orders do not initially pass final inspection and we may need to redo all or part of the process; the order is then fast tracked through production so that it may be sent out in a timely manner.
You’re able to track your glasses through our lab using our order tracking. All you need is your order number, shipping zip code, and email address.
If you order more than one pair of glasses, they will be shipped out together.
Use our Order Tracking to find out where your glasses are in the production process. Once they’re ready to ship, you'll receive a shipping notification email which will contain your tracking number.

If you have a favorite frame, you can order new lenses for them by placing an order through our site.
First you place the order online, we then give you your order number and instructions on how to send your frame in. We’re not able to send you the lenses since we physically need the frames here in order to correctly cut the lenses for them.
Once we have your frame here, it is examined to ensure that it is in good shape and that it’s of optical quality. In rare instances, we may need to decline a frame if it doesn’t meet optical standards. In this case, we will send the frame back to you and issue a refund for the lenses.
