Use your eyeglasses for photo frames!

Eyeglasses could make a creative frameIndividuals who require prescription eyeglasses may be at a loss for what to do with their old frames once their prescription changes or they get a new pair. While they can donate them to local organizations that collect eyeglasses for less fortunate individuals, people can also use their old specs for some quirky décor.

One fun craft project can be to turn eyeglasses into photo frames, according to the Detroit News. By cutting the picture down to size, individuals can use their unwanted glasses to display their loved ones and memories.

If you don't want to mess up your original photos, you can print copies of them off of the computer to ensure the originals stay intact.

If you're feeling especially crafty, you might want to decorate the frames with some markers or glitter.

According to the American Optometric Association, eyeglasses are used to treat refractive errors such as myopia and hyperopia, or nearsightedness and farsightedness. These problems typically appear when an individual is under the age of 20 and continue to progress if they are not properly treated by an eye care professional.ADNFCR-2615-ID-19754865-ADNFCR
