With Halloween approaching quickly, some people may be searching for the perfect costume idea. The Vancouver Sun reports that there are many members of the Pop Star elite that can inspire a fantastic get-up this year.

There are likely to be many people dressed as Lady Gaga heading out to Halloween parties this year, so why not jump on the bandwagon? For this costume, you'll want the largest, most extravagant pair of sunglasses you can find, the source reports.

Many celebrity-inspired costumes can be completed with a big pair of sunglasses. Lindsay Lohan is famous for wearing big, dark aviators. For a bit of a controversial twist, consider wearing your glasses with a bright orange jumpsuit.

Of course, there are some generic costumes that require a pair of sunglasses. Hippies were known to wear small, round or heart-shaped, colored lenses, while Disco Divas donned big, white sunglasses.

The American Optometric Association suggests purchasing sunglasses that allow you to see comfortably while still screening out 75 to 90 percent of visible light. Additionally, your eyewear should block 99 to 100 percent of UV radiation.
