Sunglasses for the nerd in all of us
July 1, 2010
For those fashionable geeks among us, there may be a new brand of sunglasses that will not only protect their sensitive eyes, but also double as computer memory storage, EverythingUSB.com reports.
Le-Samourai Eyewear has introduced a new line of glasses that has a detachable USB key that can be hidden in the frames.
The company plans on launching both eyeglasses and sunglasses that will have this capability. They also plan on offering the frames in a variety of colors and designs, providing something for everyone.
The USB key can pop out of the side of the frames and pop back in with ease. Looking at the side of the sunglasses, one wouldn't even be able to tell there was a small portable key sitting there.
The American Optometric Association (AOA) suggests sunglasses that block out 99 to 100 percent of both UV-A and UV-B radiation, screen out 75 to 90 percent of visible light, be perfectly matched in color and free of distortion and imperfection and have lenses that are gray for proper color recognition.
