Palin may have been borrowing from her daughters' accessories collection when she was spotted at a baseball game with a pair of logo Juicy Couture sunglasses, according to Styleite. Fashion critics were puzzled by Palin's bold choice, as brand names are usually appeal more to a younger crowd.

Additionally, Palin is known for her outdoor lifestyle, and some feel that the sunglasses choice was a little too fashionista for her age and demeanor.

While not everyone may have Palin's bold sense of style, it's still a good idea to wear sunglasses when participating in outdoor activities.

According to the American Optometric Association, tinted sunglasses can help prevent certain eye conditions such as cataracts and macular degeneration. While these conditions may take a while to develop, not wearing sunglasses could also lead to photokeratitis, which is a sunburn of the eye and can be very painful.
