Popular eyewear maker Oakley has announced that it has expanded its special edition eyewear line dedicated to the creators and drivers of Ducati motorcycles.
The company has added a new pair of specs to the Oakley Jupiter line that honors famed Ducati racer Nicky Hayden. Additionally, they have added new renditions of the Transistor, Wingspan and Metal Plate prescription frames, each available with authentic prescription lenses. Currently glasses in the line run between $110 and $150.
"Oakley performance eye wear has always been a favorite among Ducati racers, and Oakley engineers will always be inspired by the pure genius and raw power of Ducati design," said Colin Baden, CEO of Oakley. "Both companies have earned a respected heritage of innovation. This special edition eyewear pays homage to those who push the limits of possibility, and to anyone who demands uncompromising performance and definitive style."
Ducati and Oakley began creating eyewear in 2003, and have since released many products that showcase the innovation and style of both companies.
