Experts recommend looking for snow goggles that have a high quality and/or a polarized lens, dual lenses to avoid fogging, hydrophobic coating to wick away water and a durable, yet flexible frame.

The American Optometric Association (AOA) says shoppers should look for sunglasses that block 99 to 100 percent of ultraviolet rays in order to best protect the eyes.
