Eyewear fashion show coming to Cincinnati
October 12, 2010
Models will be showing off some of the hottest trends in eyeglasses frames in Cincinnati at the Holte Eyewear Spec-tacular Fashion Show, which is slated to take place later this month, according to Cincinnati.com.
The show will take place at Holte Eyewear, and is hosted by Cincy Chic, a fashion blog. A wide variety of designer frames and styles of lenses will be shown off on the catwalk, including labels like Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Coach, Fendi, Tory Burch and Tom Ford. Models will also wear jewelry to compliment the frames.
Guests at the event will be treated to wine, appetizers and gift bags filled with goodies. Dr Elliot M Kirstein will also give a presentation discussing ways to grow longer, thicker and darker eyelashes.
The event, which is free to attend, also gives attendees the opportunity to enter a drawing for a free weekend Lexus lease and a silver bracelet from jeweler Richter and Phillips, according to the news source.
Sunglasses will also be showcased at this event. According to the American Optometric Association, sunglasses should block out 99 to 100 percent of UV radiation to provide proper protection from the sun.
