Charlie Sheen snapped wife's eyeglasses in domestic dispute

Do you really want to make your spouse angry? You could follow Charlie Sheen's lead and snap your significant other's eyeglasses in half.

According to the BBC News, in a domestic dispute with his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, the actor deliberately broke two pairs of Mueller's eyeglasses.

Breaking eyeglasses seems to be a new celebrity trend – actor Barry Williams recently claimed to have lost a pair of eyeglasses to a fight with his ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Kennedy.

Though the average American doesn't take their anger out on another person's spectacles, accident-prone individuals might find that they need a sturdy pair of eyeglasses to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use.

There are many frame materials available that can bend and twist without breaking or snapping in half. Durable eyeglasses are especially useful for athletes or small children. (And, of course, anyone who is dating a celebrity.)
